Computer Science Review publishes research surveys and expository overviews of open problems in computer science.

All articles are aimed at a general computer science audience seeking a full and expert overview of the latest developments across computer science research.

Articles from other fields are welcome, as long as their content is relevant to and has impact on the development of computer science. In particular, articles that review the application of well-known Computer Science methods to other areas are in scope only if these articles advance the fundamental understanding of those methods.

Contributing authors are expected to be recognized experts in the areas that they survey, have a significant publication record in the specific domain and the experience to provide a clear and well-balanced treatment of the subject.

All submissions undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise. Editorial decisions are based solely on scholarly merit, originality, and methodological soundness.

Every article published in International Journal of Modern Computing is freely available to read, download, and cite from the moment of publication, with no subscription or paywall for readers.

International Journal of Modern Computing publishes on an ongoing basis, with articles made available online as they complete review.

International Journal of Modern Computing maintains a strict, zero-tolerance plagiarism policy. Every submission is screened through similarity-detection software before entering peer review, and confirmed cases of plagiarism — including self-plagiarism and improper citation — result in immediate rejection or retraction, regardless of the stage of the review process.
