A Novel SecurX Algorithm

As the world is rapidly growing towards digitalization, everyone is having a heavy reliance on technology to store sensitive data and make transactions, leading to the convenience of lives. Nonetheless, the ever-growing technology has led to the exposure of cyber threats. Vulnerabilities in software and hardware pose significant challenges and can be exploited by cybercriminals, bringing adverse consequences to data breaches and other forms of cyberattacks. This underscores the critical role of cybersecurity and cryptography in safeguarding our digital existence. This research emphasizes the newly developed of new cryptographic cipher named "SecurX." The inspiration is ideally generated from the QWERTY keyboard layout and initials of our group members and aims to safeguard our data from unauthorised third-party access. With the increasing complexity of digital infrastructure and the growing number of connected devices surpassing 50 billion, so does vulnerability. This exponential growth in interconnected devices has heightened concerns among nations, organizations, and individuals regarding data security, including issues of confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility.
