Abstract

The advent of social networks has fundamentally transformed the landscape of modern political movements. This abstract explores the pivotal role these digital platforms play in mobilizing support, shaping public opinion, and facilitating grassroots activism. Social networks provide unprecedented access to real-time information, enabling activists to coordinate actions, disseminate messages, and engage with a global audience. They amplify marginalized voices, democratize political discourse, and challenge traditional power structures by offering alternative narratives. The study examines case studies of recent political movements, highlighting the strategic use of social media to organize protests, raise awareness, and influence policy changes. However, it also addresses the challenges posed by misinformation, echo chambers, and the digital divide. By analyzing the dual-edged nature of social networks in political contexts, this abstract underscores their indispensable yet complex role in contemporary political dynamics. The findings suggest that while social networks are powerful tools for political mobilization, they must be navigated with critical awareness to mitigate their potential drawbacks.
