Abstract

This project aims to evaluate Danielle Steel's novel The Right Time through the lens of a courageous woman confronting gender inequity. Aspires to write crime thrillers is the lifelong ambition of teenage Alexandra Winslow. She must have courage to confront societal inequalities and prejudice against women as she pursues her ambition of being a writer, especially while dealing with male crime thriller authors. The employment of a descriptive qualitative approach concludes this study. Quotations from the novel's plot that are relevant to the data are used. The next step in data analysis is to organize the information pertaining to the study's research questions. According to the findings, our heroine displays three distinct acts of bravery: resisting oppression, challenging harmful stereotypes, and standing firm in the face of violent threats. There is no question about Winslow's writing abilities. Those who are familiar with Winslow's work and have read it speak highly of her writing. With the help of his friends and family, Winslow musters the courage to keep pretending to be a man so that he may pursue his ambition of becoming a great writer.
