This study paper focuses on conducting a sociological analysis of the Hum TV drama "Ranjha Ranjha Kardi" and its impact on the socioeconomic class, religion, and education of the community. A qualitative research design was employed for this case study, in which data was gathered through in-depth interviews with participants. The gained data was then subjected to thematic analysis to evaluate the results. This drama endorses Karl Marx's thesis of class division and portrays the continued influence of the top class in shaping societal norms and values. The drama aimed to demonstrate that the caste system is non-existent in Islam, and that Islam grants equal rights to all social classes. It identifies those who visit shrines and are willing to go to great lengths to realise their desires,
unquestioningly following the instructions given by the religious leaders there. The drama supports the idea that illicit activities are being justified under the pretence of religion. The results demonstrated that the misuse of religion is prevalent, and there is a significant emphasis on education in this play. Additionally, the study highlighted the fundamental obstacles faced by individuals with lower economic status in accessing education and societal benefits. The study's findings would contribute to the current understanding of social media's impact on the ethical development and moral values of society.
